I was very lucky to have been immersed in the world of art at a very young age, constantly honing my skills and exploring various mediums of creative expression as I grew up. I'm at a point in my life now where I am able to share my expressions to the world. Over the past year I gained a lot of popularity under the alias "Saultear" on Instagram where I share my artwork mostly focussing on my sketchbook spreads. Because of that platform I was fortunate enough to reach over 3 million users and launch my very own website to the world where I sell various art prints of mine, clothes, stickers, blankets, and many more. I was also able to launch commissions where my followers can make their creative ideas come to life whether its a tattoo design, portrait, or anything in between.
In addition to my social media presence, I have been commissioned by many businesses. Brewed Omen, which is a local taphouse in Hartford Wisconsin, commissioned me to take their already made logo and design it in a unique way to be a mural on one of their inside brick walls. So, I redesigned it to look like their logo was "tagged" by paint to fit their rustic interior. I am also currently working on a 6 foot tall mural that covers one of their sealed doors that memorializes an in house ghost they have there.
I was also approached by a school music teacher to create a mural for her classroom. This mural was made on an old, once covered up chalk board that was not able to come off the wall. I came up with the idea of incorporating 54 Broadway musical references in an interactive search-and-find format for the children. This mural has been used in interactive lessons and trivia for the students and will be for many years to come. It also brings a bright and fun characteristic to a once dull interior.
Not long ago I was asked to create the new sticker and T-shirt design for 2024's Turn it Up Rock Camp, a rock camp that uses music as a vehicle for opportunity and empowerment for those who experience marginalization because of their gender identity and expression. They feature a new artist's design every year and this year I was selected. After that design, I was also asked to create a new logo for Turn it Up as well as a poster promoting their event!
I was also fortunate enough to instruct a monthly painting class for teens at the Jack Russell Memorial Library. I would plan a seasonal design for each coming month, paint an example painting first on my own time, then on the last Tuesday of each month I would paint along with a group of 12 teens and teach them the step-by-step how to paint that months scene.

In the future, I'd love the opportunity to get into the world of tattooing. I think a tattoo apprenticeship would be something I'd be very creatively fulfilled in. Creating long lasting artwork on people's bodies that they can tell stories about is a way I'd like to leave my impact in the art world and on people's lives. I, of course, still see myself drawing, painting, and doing graphic design in my freetime as well. I love being able to inspire others online and I wouldn't exchange that for the world. Only time will tell what I end up getting myself into next.
