TheĀ 3x3 grid of paintings and the two scenes following it are paintings that I created and taught to a class of 12 teens. I had the privilege of being the painting instructor in a class my local library and I made up called "Brush & Slush. There would be a monthly seasonal painting to learn how to create, while being accompanied by some delicious slushies to drink. This went on for about a year and a half every month. We are taking a break from this workshop right now but it will be reintroduced later in the year. The blue portrait and landscape painting is something I created in my sketchbook. The right painting was a plein air I did on a Door County beach, and the painting next to it was something I challenged myself to do, only using the colors I used in that plein air. The snowy cardinal painting was a gift to my grandparents for Christmas in 2023. It is currently the largest and most timeĀ consuming painting I've done thus far.
